About
My name is Brad Sutliff, and I am a passionate photographer with over 15 years of experience capturing the beauty, emotion, and stories that define life. My journey into photography began at the age of 17 during my high school years, when I first picked up a camera for photography class and discovered the joy of freezing moments in time. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a lifelong passion, shaping how I see and connect with the world.
Over the years, I have specialized in landscapes, sports and portraits, creating images that are both technically refined and emotionally resonant. My style is characterized by natural light, raw authenticity, and a commitment to storytelling. Whether I’m capturing candid moments or meticulously composed scenes, my goal is to highlight the extraordinary within the ordinary.
Outside of photography, I am equally passionate about giving back to my community. For the past ten years, I have served as a local football coach, working with youth and high school athletes to develop their skills both on and off the field. Coaching has allowed me to mentor young people, instilling values of teamwork, perseverance, and discipline—principles that also guide my creative work behind the camera.
In addition to my professional and coaching pursuits, I am a proud husband and father of two. My family is my greatest inspiration, and they continually remind me of the beauty in life’s simplest moments. Balancing photography, coaching, and family life has taught me to appreciate time in all its forms—fleeting moments, transformative experiences, and cherished memories.
My work has been featured in several magazines and our local Press Democrat, and I am always exploring new projects that allow me to push creative boundaries. Photography, to me, is more than an art; it is a way to connect with others, tell meaningful stories, and leave a legacy of visual narratives that inspire and resonate.
As I continue this journey, I remain dedicated to capturing moments that matter, mentoring the next generation—whether on the field or behind the lens—and finding beauty in the world around me every day.
